I am not the creative type\". You have probably heard this or even said it yourself. But this sentence is based on a misunderstanding. Being creative is <strong>neither<\/strong> a <strong>talent<\/strong> nor connected to <strong>IQ<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>What is creativity<\/h2>\n<p>Creativity is often described as something that is&nbsp;<strong>new <\/strong>og&nbsp;till\u00e6gges <strong>value<\/strong> (not necessarily economic value). Both depends on the context in which the idea comes up. There is a distinction between C (big-C) and c (little-c). C is creativity at a world scale, while c is related to the specific context and contains everyday creativity.<\/p>\n<p>Creativity is not a talent but instead something that needs <strong>training<\/strong> and it is therefore also something that you can become better at. It is described as a <strong>way of operating<\/strong>&nbsp;and is often compared with a <strong>childlike and playful approach<\/strong> to a given activity.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.idefu.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/IMG_7821.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_7821\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"478\" width=\"640\" title=\"IMG_7821\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\">\n\t<h2>How do you become creative?<\/h2>\n<p>It is seen that creativity is helped by external inspiration. In a creative session, this can e.g. be via <strong>physical materials<\/strong> and <strong>social interactions<\/strong>. This is also the reason we continuously introduce materials in our creative workshops and sessions.<\/p>\n<p>Men hvad er det s\u00e5, \u201dde kreative\u201d er s\u00e6rligt gode til? For langt de fleste vil det sv\u00e6reste v\u00e6re at komme i den barnlige \/ legende tilstand. Der kan v\u00e6re mange forhindringer til dette. Travlhed er en af de absolut vigtigste, men det kan ogs\u00e5 v\u00e6re andre former for pres, fx forventninger fra chefer, kollegaer eller fra en selv. Disse dele suppleres ofte af mentale barrierer, manglende tryghed og mod til at &#8216;opf\u00f8re sig barnligt&#8217;, og m\u00e5ske endda en f\u00f8lelse af, at det er spild af &#8216;voksen&#8217;-tid, n\u00e5r man endelig pr\u00f8ver at kaste sig ud i det.
